Background: Encouraged to shoot for the stars and follow her dreams, the reality of life hit hard once she was old enough to figure out that it just wasn't that easy. Her parents' broken relationship created a home atmosphere she didn't want, and it didn't take her long to look for love elsewhere. Falling in with the wrong crowd, after high school, it was no surprise she continued on the path of fun and games. When it came to drinking and card playing, she was one of the best, and her dreams of fortune caught the attention of others. In and out of relationships though, started to wear on her, and after being abused by her boyfriend (Peter Sanford), she hit rock bottom. Getting back on her feet while finding a friend in Carson Banks, she looked for a better life, realizing there was more than what she'd had.
