Background: Knowing each other since they were toddlers, it wasn't a surprise when their friendship grew throughout the years, moving from buddies, to best friends, to finally husband and wife. Their lives were simple but happy, and Jamie's birth brought an extra special light. Financially strapped, starting their own restaurant was a leap of faith that proved to be the best move as it took off, quickly becoming a local favorite.
