Background: His grandfather was in law enforcement, his father was in law enforcement. It wasn't surprising that he followed in their footsteps. While a police officer, his wife was murdered, changing his world forever, and for a while he quit the force. But unable to allow more tragedies, he joined again, eventually becoming a detective. Involved with the TX gang for a while, he helped when he could, and also kept an eye on his nephew (JT), who he was close to. Years later after outliving his years of service, he retired.
Other: Still does some private investigating on the side if circumstances allow. At one time was very close to Mick Henson.
